CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating lathes, mills, and accessories to perform various operations on rolls and other parts to meet quality assurance requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal working and be able to interpret assembly and blueprints drawings.

Responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and operating CNC and manual machinery
• Completing SOP travelers and documenting daily activities
• Interpreting assembly and blueprints drawings
• FOLLOWING PROPER SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Working well with others and being courteous
• Ability to train new or other employees to perform same job responsibilities
• Maintaining an organized and clean work area

Requirements include:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to convert metric and standard measurements
• Basic Trigonometry functions
• Ability to use and read precise measuring tools
• Ability to learn and understand critical processes and operations in assigned areas
