Position Overview

The Radiology Intervention Specialist will work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with every other weekend required. The compensation range for this role is between $25.12 and $40.19 per hour.

We are seeking a qualified Radiology Intervention Specialist who will uphold our esteemed tradition of excellence. This role is pivotal for those who aspire to positively impact lives on a daily basis, working alongside a dedicated team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate advanced imaging technology and apply ionizing radiation to patients, adhering to established protocols and departmental guidelines.
  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, employing image-guided surgical techniques and maintaining sterile conditions.
  • Implement appropriate radiation safety measures in compliance with the ALARA principle, following departmental Radiation Safety Policies.
  • Utilize laser imagers and radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment to capture high-quality radiographic images.
  • Collaborate with designated Interventional Radiologists to review patient history and relevant images, ensuring the correct application of procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited radiologic technologist program.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, including at least one year in Interventional Radiology (IR).
  • ARRT certifications (e.g., CV, VI, CI) are mandatory.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
