Thompson Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in the Continuing Care Center. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Provide personal care to residents, such as toileting, collecting specimens, and performing post-mortem care.
- Assist with skincare and repositioning, including turning residents and using mechanical lifts.
- Maintain a clean and orderly environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
- Document resident care, including intake/output forms, vitals, and weight.
- Interact with residents, families, and other staff members to provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid NYS CNA Certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle unpleasant sights and odors.
