About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Health Aide Trainee to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide acute, chronic, emergency, and preventive medical health care to patients in their communities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working under the direction of medical doctors in Anchorage and adhering to the CHA/P Manual guidelines. You will also be expected to operate within your level of training and scope of practice, as well as act within the limits of your Medical Standing Orders when applicable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with CHA/P Manual guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with medical doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to meet individual patient needs
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support patient care and evaluation
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent
  • Meet all requirements and expectations of the Community Health Aide Program Certification Board Standards and Procedures for the CHA-T
  • Successfully complete the required training programs and pass relevant testing
  • Enroll as an individual rendering provider with Alaska Medicaid (if applicable)
