About the Role
This leadership position is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, including preparation of schedules, coordinating work orders, and training team members. The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience in building and facility maintenance, with some supervisory experience. A high level of integrity and ability to handle confidential resident information are essential requirements.
Responsibilities
Lead maintenance team in preparing schedules, coordinating work orders, and training team members. Organize, prioritize, and ensure that service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner. Oversee turnkey operations and maintain vacant units in a timely manner. Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems and minor electrical issues. Perform grounds work, including trash collection, sweeping, pressure washing, clearing, and cleaning dumpster areas. Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance service responses as required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have completion of high school or specialized vocational training, along with at least three years' experience in building and facility maintenance, some of which has been supervisory. Licensing and trade certification in HVAC, Electrical Wiring, or Plumbing are highly desired. Must be able to read and write in English at an intermediate level to read diagrams, meters, instructions, and write reports. Ability to do basic math for measuring and prioritizing tasks is essential. High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential resident information are also required. Background and credit checks, pre-employment drug screening, and employment verification are necessary. Estimated Salary
