Key Responsibilities
As a CNA, you will provide care to residents under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Your duties will include:
- Monitoring and recording vital signs
- Measuring and documenting height, weight, intake, and output
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
- Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting
- Supporting residents with meals and hydration
- Observing residents' skin conditions during care and reporting any changes to a licensed nurse; providing necessary skin care
- Addressing residents' mental health and social service needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- CNA certification
