Job Title: 12-Month Custodian

About the Role:
Dolton-Riverdale School District 148 is seeking a qualified custodian to join our team. This is a full-time, 12-month position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school facilities.

Responsibilities:
Perform non-school day tasks, complete maintenance or custodial related assignments, use proper cleaning methods, storage, care, safeguarding, and disposal of designated equipment and supplies, respond promptly to assignments, report all accidents and/or potential hazards to building administration or directors immediately.

Requirements:
Maintenance employees must be able to lift objects weighing up to approximately 25 pounds frequently and up to approximately 75 pounds occasionally. The environment exposes the employee to potentially hazardous substances. Work is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme temperatures, noise, and hazards. Vocal and written communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing written or computer data, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities.

Salary: $60,000 per year.
