Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Leasing Agent to join our team at Macon Housing Authority. As a Leasing Agent, you will play a crucial role in attracting and retaining qualified residents to maximize physical occupancy at our assigned community.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a warm and engaging personality.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with potential and existing residential tenants to showcase the advantages of our property
  • Provide general clerical assistance to the community office, including greeting potential renters and processing rental applications
  • Maintain accurate records and perform administrative tasks as needed
  • Prepare promotional materials and respond to resident inquiries in a professional and timely manner

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years' experience in leasing, marketing, or general office administration preferred
  • Warm, engaging, inviting personality with strong customer service, sales, and personal interaction skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, with Yardi experience a plus
  • Self-motivated, strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and reliable attendance

Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience
