Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialists play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our manufacturing facility. This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities aimed at installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment in accordance with safety standards and preventative maintenance protocols to support the company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute scheduled maintenance tasks as directed by management.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to efficiently complete projects and work orders.
  • Conduct electrical maintenance tasks.
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs as needed.
  • Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair components, and conduct necessary adjustments.
  • Respond promptly to emergency maintenance situations.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and practices.
  • Maintain and service company-owned machinery and forklifts.
  • Ensure the work area is organized and clean by tidying tools and equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Utilize provided tools and equipment responsibly.
  • Provide personal tools for basic maintenance tasks.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding equipment functionality.
  • Clean machinery as required.
  • Notify management of any potential issues or complaints.
  • Assist colleagues with technical expertise.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to work an 8.5-hour schedule.
  • Availability for 3rd Shift.
  • Physical capability to lift, push, pull, crawl, bend, stoop, or climb as necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Capacity to remain standing for the duration of the shift.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Forklift operation experience is advantageous.
  • Electrical maintenance experience is preferred.
