Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer oral and topical medications, including controlled substances, as prescribed by attending physicians under the supervision of a registered or licensed nurse.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities and perform other nursing assistant tasks to ensure optimal care.
  • Support licensed staff in the administration of non-parental medications and treatments in accordance with established policies.
  • Engage in nursing assistant duties as directed by the Director of Nursing or Nurse Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records of medications administered and report any observations to licensed personnel.
  • Ensure the upkeep of resident care supplies and the overall environment.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Successful completion of a Nurse Aide Training Course and Medication Aide Course. Must be state tested or eligible for reciprocity.

Compensation and Benefits:
