Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Wound Care Physician to provide high-quality patient care and management of complex wounds. The ideal candidate will have experience in treating skin reactions, preventing skin breakdown, and managing vascular ulcers, pressure ulcers, and diabetic ulcers.

Responsibilities
  • Treating skin reactions and preventing skin breakdown
  • Managing vascular ulcers, pressure ulcers, and diabetic ulcers
  • Providing comprehensive wound management
  • Applying topical therapies and educating patients and their support systems on care techniques
  • Assessing and treating draining wounds and fistulae
  • Designing pouch systems for draining wounds and fistulae
  • Implementing preventative actions to reduce the incidence of pressure ulcers and vascular ulcers
  • Providing instruction on proper wound dressing and educating patients and their support systems on ulcer prevention and treatment
Requirements
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine
  • Board Eligible in Hyperbaric Medicine or National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (WCC) certification
  • Oregon license or willingness to obtain
  • Experience with required duties, types of wounds treated, and treatment used
