About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Radiology Technologist to utilize their expertise in diagnostic imaging procedures and patient care. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a range of radiographic examinations, including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures.

You will work closely with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and ensure accurate exam results. Your strong communication skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

In this role, you will also be responsible for:

  • Positioning patients accurately for various radiologic examinations
  • Selecting optimal exposure factors to ensure high-quality images
  • Providing patients with radiation protection and safety guidelines
  • Labeling and processing images correctly
  • Communicating with radiologists and other stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation

To succeed in this position, you must have:

Requirements
  • A valid Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced training in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
