Position Summary

The Physical Therapist will be an integral part of the Physical Therapy service line at OrthoNY, collaborating with a team of specialists in Orthopedics, Spine, Sports Medicine, and Pain Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions with patients, peers, and medical staff.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients in a dynamic outpatient therapy environment.
  • Work collaboratively with patients and colleagues, including Physical Therapist Assistants, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated treatment.
  • Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems efficiently, ensuring timely documentation.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the Physical Therapy Manager.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred; however, new graduates may also be considered.
  • Possession of a valid Physical Therapy license in New York State.
  • Experience working with diverse patient demographics and a variety of diagnoses.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
