Housekeeping Assistant

Job Summary: As a Housekeeper at South Park East Nursing Center, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility. This is a dynamic position that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

As a member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained. This includes tasks such as cleaning equipment and supplies, monitoring environments for potential hazards, and ensuring proper disposal of infectious waste.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in staff development events, provide orientation and training for new team members, and contribute to our annual facility assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and disinfecting equipment and supplies

• Ensuring proper disposal of infectious waste

Requirements: We require candidates who possess an 8th grade education or higher, can read, write, speak, and understand English fluently, and have excellent communication skills. Prior experience is not required, as we provide on-the-job training.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and local market conditions.
