Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team at the GSS ND Park River facility in Park River, North Dakota. The successful candidate will provide individualized nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care and outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing residents' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans;
- Providing direct care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital signs;
- Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate resident care;
- Maintaining accurate records of resident care, including progress notes and medication administration records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must:
- Hold an unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of North Dakota;
- Demonstrate competency in nursing practices, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation;
- Have a strong understanding of long-term care principles and practices;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams;
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of nursing role.
