Pharmacy Technician

Trinity Health is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at St. Peter's Hospital. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients.
Responsibilities:- Process and distribute medications to patients, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of medication inventory, including tracking and reporting on stock levels and expiration dates.
- Assist with the preparation and labeling of medications, including IV solutions and other specialized medications.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medication therapies and best practices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- National certification by PTCB or NHA preferred.
- Valid New York State Pharmacy Technician Registration preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
