Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Dentist to join our team at the State Correctional Institution (SCI) at Houtzdale. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing basic dental care to our inmate population with compassion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily work of the institution's dental staff
  • Provide basic dental care and perform all dental treatment
  • Assist specialists in the performance of treatment and related duties
  • Consult with and refer inmate patients to physicians, oral surgeons, and other health care professionals

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an approved school of dentistry
  • Current license to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry
  • Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA
