Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Assist with serving meals and dining room duties, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience for residents.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
  • Document resident care and activities, adhering to community policies and procedures.
  • Participate in resident activity programs, promoting engagement and socialization.
  • Relieve at the front desk, providing coverage for the call and alarm system, as well as clerical and secretarial support as requested.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous experience in senior care preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and empathetic approach to resident care.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds, with occasional heavy lifting required.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including swing shifts, and willingness to adapt to changing resident needs.
