We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse ICU RN to join our team at a top-rated hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Job Description

Salary: $2,500.00/week

Responsibilities

As a Travel Nurse ICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Consulting on special patient cases where a need for PICC line placement and instruction has been identified.
  • Establishing a treatment plan for patients and their families to follow.
  • Serving as a resource person for medical and hospital staff regarding PICC placement and education.
  • Assuming responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
  • Documenting patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
  • Obtaining and monitoring physiological data of patients.
  • Observing the physiological manifestations of patients and intervening when necessary.
  • Interacting with family and patient regarding care plan while in the hospital and at time of discharge.
  • Informing patient and family of hospital procedures.
  • Making referral regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
Requirements

To be considered for this Travel Nurse ICU RN position, you must have:

  • 1 year of experience in ICU nursing.
  • Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
  • Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS - American Heart Association.
