Job Summary

Adventist Health Portland is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders. You will conduct invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems, operate x-ray and physiological equipment, and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct invasive and non-invasive diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems.
  • Operate x-ray and physiological equipment.
  • Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Maintain equipment and records test results.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience.
  • One year's catheterization experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography (ARRT-R).
    • Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License.
    • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS).
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Unit Specific Information

This department performs before-, during-, and after-care of invasive interventional and therapeutic procedures/studies to treat cardiac and vascular arterial, venous, and structure heart disorders, cardiac rhythm abnormalities to implant and remove devices and leads, and conduct therapeutic cathartic ablations.

  • Current picture identification required.
  • AHA only required for all candidates.
  • Please make sure to have certifications on file prior to start.
  • If ACLS/BLS/PALS/NRP/etc. is expiring while on assignment, renewal plans are necessary.
