Department: Sanitation

Compensation: $20-$22 per hour based on experience

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Sanitation Supervisor

Work Environment: Responsibilities span all areas of the facility, including but not limited to:

  1. Zone 1 Areas - Direct Food Contact Surfaces
  2. Zone 2 Areas - Indirect Food Contact Surfaces
  3. Zone 3 Areas - Adjacent to Food Contact Surfaces
  4. Zone 4 Areas - Warehouse, Shipping and Receiving Dock, Entryways, Utility Areas, and External Grounds

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Consistently monitor production areas to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  2. Act as a mentor and support for other staff in maintaining sanitary operations.
  3. Enforce all GMPs as specified by SnackCraft.
  4. Execute sanitation tasks as outlined in the Master Sanitation Schedule and Daily Housekeeping protocols.
  5. Guide and assist team members in performing line cleanup tasks.
  6. Adhere to and enforce all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
  7. Report any safety issues to the Safety Committee.

General Requirements:

  1. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance are essential.
  2. Maintain appropriate attire and demonstrate good personal hygiene.
  3. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
  4. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary.
  5. Regularly perform Daily Housekeeping and GMP tasks.
  6. Monitor waste collection stations to prevent risks to personnel and food safety.
  7. Promptly address spills to ensure safety and hygiene.
  8. Regularly check, clean, and restock utensils and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to support sanitary operations.
  9. Continuously identify and rectify GMP violations.

Program Responsibilities:

  1. Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS): Execute tasks according to the Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure and document completed work for review.
  2. Internal Pest Management (IPM): Identify potential pest issues and communicate them to supervisors, assisting in pest inspections and removals.
  3. Chemical Control: Oversee the safe handling, labeling, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
  4. Product Changeover: Support training for staff on cleaning requirements and perform specific cleaning tasks as assigned.
