As a Registered Nurse Endoscopy at SCA Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate nurse to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized perioperative patient plans of care, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Administer medications safely and correctly, utilizing the 8 rights of medication administration.
- Monitor patient status and intervene as necessary to maintain tissue perfusion and prevent complications.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- One year of GI, OR, and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
- Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
- Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS/BCLS certification.
- Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
- Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
- Specialty certification in GI Nursing is preferred.
Minimum: $40.00/Hr.
Maximum: $42.00/Hr.
