Job Summary

Asteam Childcare Academy is seeking a reliable and dedicated transportation specialist to transport children safely to and from our childcare academy during morning and afternoon shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport children safely to and from Asteam Childcare Academy during designated hours (morning and afternoon).
  • Ensure the safety of all children while entering, riding, and exiting the bus.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and maintenance purposes.
  • Maintain an organized and clean bus interior at all times.
  • Follow the assigned bus route and schedule, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs.
  • Report any safety concerns or vehicle issues to the appropriate staff.
  • Foster a positive and supportive environment for children, assisting younger passengers as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and management regarding any schedule or route changes.
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement OR
  • Clean driving record with a history of safe driving practices.
  • Experience in transporting children or working with young children is preferred.
  • Ability to remain calm and patient in traffic or under stressful conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
