Courage Kia is a leading automotive dealership in North Carolina, committed to excellence and customer satisfaction. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Shop Foreman to oversee the daily operations of our service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel mechanics, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest quality standards and meets the expectations of our customers.
  • Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest workplace safety and environmental requirements and implement all health and safety policies in the service department.
  • Maintain and service equipment as needed or according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Interview customers and document vehicle complaints.
  • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
  • Craft job orders, observe and listen to vehicle operation to resolve malfunctions and plan work procedures.
  • Test-drive vehicles once service is complete to ensure they run smoothly.
  • Tag all warranty parts and returns to the Warranty Clerk.
  • Stay informed about training and factory technical bulletins.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of diesel mechanic experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, math, and writing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
  • One year Fleet or dealership experience.
  • Management or customer service experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • ASE and CDL certification preferred.
