POSITION SUMMARY
An Academic Instructor at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences is responsible for delivering engaging, clinically-oriented educational experiences for students pursuing careers in health sciences, utilizing various instructional methods including in-person, hybrid, and online formats.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintains proficiency in subject matter

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Preferred experience in online education
  • Terminal degree preferred; candidates with a post-professional master's degree or clinical doctorate and plans to obtain a terminal degree will be considered
  • Prior teaching experience preferred, including online instruction
  • Experience in scholarly activities preferred
  • A minimum of three years of clinical experience in the relevant subject area is required
  • Familiarity with educational theories and methodologies

CREDENTIALING

Faculty members must possess appropriate credentials, hold an earned degree from an accredited institution or one recognized by a country's educational authority in the discipline being taught, and be licensed or eligible for licensure to teach in specific programs.
