Principal SAP BTP Consultant Job Description

As a key member of our consulting team, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients discover and define problem statements, identify areas for improvement, and evaluate solution options. Your expertise will be essential in making recommendations and managing turnaround expectations from the team in terms of SLA/KPIs. You will be responsible for front-ending deliverables with client stakeholders, creating detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts, and implementing deployment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage consulting team's turnaround expectations and SLA/KPIs
  • Front-end deliverables with client stakeholders
  • Create detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts
  • Implement deployment plans
  • Support knowledge transfer and provide value-adding consulting solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology
  • U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply
  • Location: Rosemead, CA or Richardson, TX

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 11 years of SAP Web application development experience
  • Experience across Electricity, Gas, or Water Utilities industries, North America
  • Experience in end-to-end lifecycle implementation activities, including requirement gathering, business process design, RICEFW functional design, systems and integration testing, and resolving production issues
  • Experience in developing, deploying, and configuring applications on Cloud Foundry using SAP CAPM
  • At least 5 years of experience in UI5/Fiori-based application development, preferably on cloud
  • Experience creating and configuring launch pad sites using BTP portal service/Launchpad Service/WorkZone
  • Knowledge of BTP services, such as workflow management, Hana cloud, XSUAA, Document Service, and configuring destinations to cloud and on-premise systems
  • Knowledge of platform operations, including Identity Provider configuration, assertion-based mapping for authorization, role collection configuration, and experience consuming OAuth-protected REST APIs in applications
  • Knowledge of Java or Node JS programming language and experience creating microservices using Spring Boot framework or NodeJS-based frameworks
  • Experience using Git for SCM and strong client-facing experience with great communication and presentation skills
