PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled civil engineer to join its dam safety team. The successful candidate will have experience in heavy civil design, construction, and project management.

Job Description

The Hydroelectric Project Manager will be responsible for developing engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments associated with the planning, design, licensing, construction, operation, and maintenance of hydroelectric projects located in seven western states.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop moderately complex engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments.
  • Perform field inspections on assigned hydroelectric projects.
  • Communicate in writing and verbally, technical information to regulatory agencies.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards.
  • Manage heavy civil capital improvement projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, basic knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A minimum of three years of directly related experience in the applicable engineering field is preferred.

We offer a competitive salary range of $76,200-$118,400, a full benefits package, generous paid time off, flexible home/office scheduling, paid parental leave, and participation in the employee Annual Incentive Plan which can be up to 12%-15% of the salary annually.
