Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Electrical Engineer to join our team at Monnit Corporation. Based in South Salt Lake, this full-time role involves designing and developing cutting-edge hardware and software solutions.

In this dynamic environment, you will work alongside experienced engineers with plenty of growth potential. Our Electrical Engineers/Developers develop, test, and troubleshoot current and future Monnit products, implementing new features and fixing bugs as needed.

This opportunity allows engineers to broaden their skill set by studying Monnit's growing product lines, which include sensors, gateways, and software. Key responsibilities include testing firmware for new products and applications, troubleshooting issues, and contributing ideas for problem resolutions and enhancements.

You will have the chance to take ownership of challenging projects and introductory design work in both hardware and firmware design for actual products. The Engineering team emphasizes execution, results, integrity, honesty, and punctuality.


Requirements:
  • An excellent candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field

Firmware Skills:
  • C# programming language
  • Python
  • JavaScript
  • DOS/Linux scripting

Hardware Skills:
  • Logical schematic capture creation
  • Module creation
  • Hardware layout using Kicad Software (preferred)

Estimated Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $120,000 based on industry standards and the location.
