PS Companies is currently in search of a skilled travel nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) for a temporary nursing role. This position is designed for dedicated professionals looking to enhance their career through travel nursing opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of settings. Your duties will include:
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitoring patient progress and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educating patients and their families about health management and post-discharge care.
Position Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Possession of an active nursing license in Wisconsin or a Compact License.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a Med Surg setting.
- Previous travel nursing experience is preferred.
- Ability to successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Employment Details:
This is a full-time travel contract position with a duration of 13 weeks, requiring 36 hours of work per week. Shifts will be 12 hours long, covering both day and night schedules.
