We are on the lookout for an experienced Senior SecDevOps Engineer with a robust background in cloud software service management and application security to become a vital member of our team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our software systems and digital platforms. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will safeguard Lucid Motors' applications, systems, and data. Your focus will be on automating and enhancing the security measures within our code development and deployment processes, as well as spearheading the application security triage and prioritization efforts. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and sustain infrastructure as code solutions to manage and secure cloud resources, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security.
  • Contribute to security hardening initiatives and develop sensible baseline configurations for all critical Lucid Motors' systems.
  • Lead application security processes, including managing existing security tools within CI/CD pipelines, reviewing proposed project architectures, conducting initial threat modeling, triaging identified application security vulnerabilities, and recommending fixes.
  • Collaborate with development teams to advocate for best practices in application security.
  • Work in tandem with infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure consistent application of security standards and address identified security posture gaps.
  • Participate in bug bounty triage and remediation processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of proven experience in security DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), managing software service operations, or a related role.
  • 3+ years of experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
  • 3+ years of application security experience.
  • Proficient in Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and "desired state" concepts, including tools such as Terraform, Salt, Chef, Puppet, etc.
  • Understanding of common attack vectors, including OWASP Top 10.
  • Experience in automating build and deployment infrastructures utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
  • Experience with Python programming or other shell scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
  • Expertise in deploying, monitoring, and scaling containerized applications on AWS using EKS, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Proficiency in application security assessments, penetration testing, and red/purple team methodologies.
Compensation Range: The salary range for this position reflects the locations listed below and represents what Lucid reasonably expects to pay, considering various factors such as job-related knowledge, skillset, experience, education, and training.
