Job Description:
- Works under the supervision of the Office Manager, Service Line Manager, Office Supervisor, and/or Family Health Center Manager.
- Provides assistance to the provider with patient exams and/or procedures.
- Collects and documents patient information, including vital signs, medical histories, and medications.
Responsibilities:
- Assists the provider with patient examinations, procedures, venipuncture, and other diagnostic testing.
- Operates medical equipment and performs patient education.
- Reviews charts for next day's appointments.
- Logs and updates medication lists for patients.
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing required
- Licensed to practice as an LPN in applicable state required
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire required
- One to three months experience preferred
