We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shop Foreman/Lead Technician to join our team at a well-respected truck equipment company. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for leading diagnostics and troubleshooting, training service staff, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate as Lead Technician, providing training and direction to other technicians.
- Lead diagnostics and troubleshooting on more complex repairs.
- Work on customer equipment, primarily ag equipment and Class 8- Med/Heavy Duty Trucks.
- Train service staff using best practices in customer satisfaction and brand promotion.
- Develop and maintain a priority system for scheduling service work.
- Manage work order systems, including invoice logging and generating service invoices.
- Schedule and assign job and work areas to employees based on their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
- Perform other functions or duties as directed by management.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 4 years of experience as a Service Tech or Mechanic.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
- Ability to lead a small team of technicians.
