About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a broad range of civil litigation matters, including contract disputes, tort claims, real estate litigation, and other civil cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in civil litigation matters across various practice areas
  • Manage all aspects of case development, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, motions, trial preparation, and trial.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including briefs, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Participate in mediation, arbitration, and settlement negotiations.
  • Provide sound legal counsel to clients, keeping them informed about case progress and legal options.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff on case strategy and legal approaches.
  • Maintain clear and organized case files in compliance with firm policies and ethical standards.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active state bar membership in good standing.
  • 3+ years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Experience managing cases from inception through trial or settlement.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in state and federal court litigation.
  • Knowledge of alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediation and arbitration.
  • Familiarity with case management software and legal research tools.
