Job SummaryThe Surgical Technologist is responsible for preparing sterile equipment, instruments, and supplies for the surgery and endoscopy departments. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and additional training as a surgical technologist. Certified Surgical Technologist is preferred, and BLS certification is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures.
- Perform duties of a scrub technician during operative procedures as assigned by the OR Manager.
- Ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional training as a surgical technologist.
- Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.
- BLS certification required.
