The Center for Family Health is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining the front office and representing the practice with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front Office Operations: Greet patients in a warm and welcoming manner, utilizing excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience.
- Administrative Tasks: Enter and verify demographic information, insurance details, and other relevant data into the electronic medical record system.
- Scheduling and Reminders: Schedule patient appointments, complete robust reminder calls, and assist with waitlists.
- Financial Transactions: Collect co-payments, past due balances, and maintain cash boxes during each shift.
- Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless coordination of patient care, and maintain strict standards of confidentiality regarding patient information.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum of High School Diploma
- Experience: Previous medical office experience preferred
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment
