Position Summary: As a Production Operator, you will report directly to the Production Manager and play a vital role in our manufacturing process. This full-time position involves performing a range of semi-repetitive tasks that require attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hand soldering and mechanical assembly of electronic components.
- Operate various manufacturing equipment to produce high-quality products.
- Maintain accurate records of product tracking data.
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
Qualifications:
- Must be a lawful U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- J-Std. certification is preferred and must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and good communication skills are essential.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed assembly instructions.
- Experience with hand tools is preferred.
- Commitment to high industry standards and teamwork.
Work Schedule:
- This position typically follows a 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts.
- Overtime may be required based on production needs.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly; team lifts for heavier items.
- Frequent overhead reaching and fine motor skills for detailed assembly tasks.
- Capability to sit or stand for extended periods and work with precision instruments.
