Position Overview:
Insight Global is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to become an integral part of our educational team. This role is vital in supporting students' communication needs and enhancing their learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Effectively communicating with students, parents, educational staff, and administration in both verbal and written formats.
- Providing expert consultation to school personnel and families regarding speech and language development and its relevance to the educational curriculum.
- Engaging in collaborative school-based teams focused on students with identified speech and language requirements.
- Demonstrating proficiency in utilizing both formal and informal assessment tools to evaluate student needs.
- Identifying students who qualify for speech and language services based on individual assessments and established criteria.
- Preparing clear and concise oral and written reports, including assessment findings and progress updates, adhering to recommended formats and timelines.
- Developing and executing tailored goals for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), and Service Plans that align with students' documented needs.
- Implementing evidence-based intervention strategies, differentiated instructional methods, and assistive technologies to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Maintaining comprehensive records of speech-language services and therapy logs to accurately document student progress.
- Completing third-party billing in compliance with established deadlines.
- Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current in the field.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology License from the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DHMH).
