Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced caregiver to join our team. As a caregiver with Visiting Angels - Silver Spring, MD, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients
  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Provide transportation to appointments and errands
  • Assist with personal care, including toileting and incontinence care
  • Assist with ambulation and transfer
  • Assist with household chores, including laundry and cleaning

Requirements

  • Valid CNA license
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Physical ability to lift and transfer clients
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
