Job Overview

Position: Aerospace Electronics Technician

Company: Trinity Employment Specialists

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm

Compensation: $17-19/HR

The Aerospace Electronics Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing intricate aviation electronic and electromechanical systems at the component level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Conduct testing, disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of aircraft components.
  • Accurately read and follow maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and wiring diagrams.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in the electronic or electromechanical industry preferred, or completion of an Aviation Technology program.
  • Technical expertise in interpreting technical data.
  • Skilled in soldering, board repair, and the assembly/disassembly of mechanical components.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard testing equipment, including multimeters and oscilloscopes, with a willingness to learn specialized tools.

Essential Skills:

  • Language: Proficient in reading and interpreting safety protocols, operational instructions, and procedural manuals. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical proficiency.
  • Reasoning Abilities: Capable of solving practical issues and managing various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization. Ability to interpret diverse instructions provided in written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled formats.

Physical Requirements:

While performing job duties, the technician is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and reach with hands and arms. The role may involve lifting and/or moving items up to 20 pounds. Specific vision capabilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

The typical noise level in the work setting is moderate.

This position is classified as DOT-FAA Safety Sensitive.
