Key Responsibilities

This role encompasses a diverse set of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Customer Engagement:
    • Deliver an outstanding customer experience in every interaction, whether through phone or email.
    • Achieve established standards for quality, efficiency, and accuracy by addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding loan accounts and services.
    • Advise and inform customers about bank policies, procedures, and services related to loan accounts.
  • Execute operational tasks such as distributing account maintenance and product support information to relevant departments, and maintaining customer files and documentation pertinent to business transactions.
  • Respond to phone calls and emails from both internal and external clients regarding loan services.
  • Handle Block/TMS work, process payments, and manage proof tickets.
  • Conduct necessary maintenance on loans with appropriate approvals.
  • Generate reports as required (e.g., Non-Use Fee, Non-Post, Escrows, etc.).
  • Oversee imaging and/or quality review of loan documentation.
  • Process payments, rate adjustments, and tranches associated with participations, syndications, SBA, and SWAP transactions.
  • Manage insurance processing, claims, flood documentation, and daily paperwork.
  • Perform general clerical tasks while ensuring the highest quality of service, maintaining significant contact with both internal and external customers.
  • Collaborate closely with all Loan Operations personnel.
  • Assist colleagues as necessary.
  • Make informed decisions within the guidelines established by the Loan Operations Department.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required; some college education or a degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in loan processing is required.
  • Specific experience in banking related to loan processing is necessary.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Effective communication skills with internal and external customers, colleagues, and management are essential.
  • A high level of organization and accuracy is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and diplomacy.
  • Familiarity with Premier Navigator is preferred.
