Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assessment Coordinator to join our team at ODD Fellows Home of Massachusetts. This per diem position offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all resident assessment instruments, including MDS sheets, face sheets, trigger sheets, RAP summaries, and care plans.
  • Teach and in-service new employees on the process and laws governing resident assessment.
  • Update staff on new and/or revised laws and interpretations of laws governing resident assessment.
  • Log patient information on appropriate calendars and assist in initiating the assessment process upon admission.
  • Assure that the Minimum Data Set (MDS) is appropriately completed and signed by each discipline before the end of each patient's assessment schedule.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Two years previous experience in long-term care.
  • Knowledge of DPH, OBRA, JCAHO, Medicare regs, and MDS process.
  • Experience working within an interdisciplinary team approach to care.
  • Computer skills.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
