Direct Jobs is seeking a Veterinary Medical Leader to enhance our thriving practice. In this pivotal role, you will provide medical guidance to a collaborative team of veterinarians while cultivating an environment that promotes teamwork and high-quality veterinary care. You will collaborate closely with the Hospital Manager to drive the success and expansion of the facility and work alongside divisional leadership to achieve hospital objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate case management to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Deliver exceptional client communication
  • Establish and refine clinical protocols
  • Lead and mentor staff in professional development and performance

This role encompasses both clinical and administrative responsibilities, with administrative tasks averaging around 5 hours weekly. Regular meetings with your manager and monthly gatherings with other staff will be part of your routine. You will receive management training for the initial six months and have the opportunity to engage virtually with operational leaders. A highlight of this position is attending an on-site meeting with fellow Medical Directors and Hospital Managers, featuring both educational and recreational activities.
