CRNA Job Description
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) will be responsible for administering anesthesia for dental procedures in an office-based setting. The CRNA will work closely with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop, and implement anesthesia plans.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia with nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants
- Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to develop anesthesia plans
- Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia
- Perform pre-operative assessments and educate patients
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration
- Stay current with evidence-based research
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Valid certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
- Ability to obtain and maintain professional malpractice insurance
- Experience with dental anesthesia is helpful
