Speech Therapist Job Description

Overview:

At CommonSpirit Health, we're committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients. As a Speech Therapist, you'll play a vital role in helping patients regain their communication skills and independence in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized home care plans to address patients' unique communication needs.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' speech and language abilities.
  • Provide direct speech therapy treatments to patients in their homes, using evidence-based techniques and strategies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient outcomes.
  • Update patient records and communicate progress to attending physicians and caregivers.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • ASHA certificate of clinical competence.
  • One year of clinical experience in speech therapy.
