Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to join our dynamic team. As an essential member of our orthopedic rehabilitation department, you will work closely with our licensed therapists to deliver comprehensive care to patients with various musculoskeletal conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent patient care by administering treatment modalities, conducting evaluations, and developing personalized plans of care.
  • Collaborate with licensed therapists to ensure seamless delivery of services and effective patient outcomes.
  • Supervise aides in the setup and execution of modalities for non-Medicare and non-BCBSM patients.
  • Re-evaluate patient progress, revise plans of care, and reset goals as needed.
  • Determine when to discharge patients based on their individual needs.
  • Document timely and accurately, including discharges and daily progress notes.
  • Achieve a reasonable level of productivity, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Contribute to the development of protocols for common diagnoses.
  • Participate in research studies supported by the clinic.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree.
  • Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license.
  • Commitment to Team's initiative of making Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) a priority.
