Job Title: Continuous Threat Exposure Management Engineer

ShorePoint is a leading cybersecurity services firm seeking a skilled Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM) Engineer to join our team. As a CTEM Engineer, you will play a critical role in assessing, implementing, securing, and administering dedicated cyber defense software in the federal market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and translate policies from existing endpoint security tools and assist with transitioning to a new Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solution.
  • Provide technical information to support the ATO process and perform system administration on specialized cyber defense applications.
  • Coordinate with Cyber Defense Analysts to manage and administer the updating of rules and signatures for specialized cyber defense applications.
  • Identify, prioritize, and coordinate the protection of critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources.
  • Assess the impact of implementing and sustaining a dedicated cyber defense infrastructure.
  • Implement Risk Management Framework (RMF)/Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) requirements for dedicated cyber defense systems within the enterprise.
Requirements:
  • Intermediate working knowledge in network and host-based firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, vulnerability scanning, anti-malware protection, secure data transmission technologies, and network monitoring/protection solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to handle competing priorities, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to make decisions and resolve problems effectively, seeking out information and data to evaluate, prioritize, and formulate best solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, and 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in developing and deploying critical security architecture solutions such as EDR, Cyber Threat Exposure Management (Skybox), Firewalls, CASB, Proxies, Virtualization, and other cybersecurity solutions.
  • Working knowledge of cloud security, application security, network security, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong written and verbal technical communication skills, and ability to develop effective working relationships.
