Job Opportunity

Shodair is seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our Allied Therapy team. This individual will be responsible for leading groups and working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to achieve patient goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recreation therapy assessments, treatment plans, and interventions
  • Provide therapeutic recreation services to patients, focusing on mental health and well-being
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification: Certification in Recreational Therapy through the National Council of Therapeutic Recreation (NCTRC) is required
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with children and/or in mental health settings
