Lead Resident Care Director Opportunity

Job Summary

The Resident Care Director will be responsible for leading and supervising the training and performance of licensed and non-licensed nursing staff, while overseeing resident care and wellness programs. This is a unique opportunity to develop your career in a family-owned and operated assisted living home that prides itself on providing support not just to our residents, but also to our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the training and performance of licensed and non-licensed nursing staff
  • Oversee resident care and wellness programs
  • Provide tours of the facility and answer admission calls
  • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, and other healthcare vendors
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care plan meetings and ensure effective case management and follow-up practices
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with staff, residents, and their families
Requirements
  • Associates degree or higher in human service management, housing management, social work, or nursing
  • Experience in community health, human services, or assisted living preferred
  • RN or LPN nursing practice background
  • Strong understanding of assisted living, Medicaid, Medicare, and SWH programs
