Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Industry Insights Intern to join our team at Vermont Mutual. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry, working closely with our Commercial and Personal Lines Underwriting teams.

The internship will last for 10 weeks, full-time, starting on June 2nd. During this period, you will rotate through various departments, including Risk Analysis, Finance, and Human Resources, to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business side of insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data to identify trends and insights that can inform business decisions
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve processes and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive results
  • Present findings and recommendations to Senior Leadership

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
