Responsibilities:

  • Provide continuous observation of patient heartbeat patterns, noting irregularities in telemetry rhythms.
  • Ensure heart monitors are functioning correctly and report any concerns to the RN in charge.
  • Troubleshoot monitoring problems, identify probable causes, and seek solutions to correct issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
